To participate in the RØDE Creator of the Year Awards, you will need to complete and submit the entry form before October 1. This includes filling out contact details so we can update you on the progress of the competition, information about your primary content channel, and proof of ownership of an eligible RØDE products.
Yes, when submitting your entry, you will need to specify which of the eligible RØDE products you own and use to create content. If you are successfully shortlisted, you will need to provide the serial number of your product.
No, if you are shortlisted for one of the Category Awards, you are also automatically eligible for the Creator of the Year Award and the Emerging Creator of the Year Award (if your channel was launched in 2023 or 2024). However, if you win one of the major awards, you will no longer be eligible for one of the Category Awards, People’s Choice Awards or the other major award.
No, you must own the content, channel and account you submit.
Every entrant has a chance to win one of two major prizes (the Creator of the Year Award or the Emerging Creator of the Year Award). Aside from these two major awards, every entrant has the chance to win one of two category awards – one judged by RØDE and the other voted for by the community. Each entrant can only win a maximum of one award.
The Creator of the Year Award will win US$20,000 and a Major Prize Pack valued over US$30,000 containing gear from RØDE and our partners.
The Emerging Creator of the Year Award will win US$10,000 Major Prize Pack valued over US$25,000 containing gear from RØDE and our partners.
Each Category Award and People’s Choice Award will win US$5,000 and a Prize Pack valued over US$900 containing gear from our partners.

To be eligible for the Emerging Creator of the Year Award, your channel or account needs to have been established in 2023 or later.
The two major prizes (the Creator of the Year Award and the Emerging Creator of the Year Award), as well as the 22 Category Awards, will be assessed by RØDE’s expert panel of judges. Every entrant’s submitted content will be judged based on the following criteria: audio quality, visual quality, personality and originality. There will also be a People’s Choice Award for each category judged by the community via a round of public voting.
Due to restrictions in some countries and territories, we are required to check the entrants age or in the case of a minor, the consent from a guardian. Entrants shall be considered as Minors for the purpose of the Competition if they are over the age of 13 years old and under the age of 20 years old if they are from Japan, Taiwan, Thailand or under the age of 19 if they are from South Korea, and otherwise over the age of 13 years old and under the age of 18 years old.
